Me again

I know I blogged already today. But then I stumbled across the blog of a girl in my ward and she issued a challenge? to answer ten questions about yourself. Secretly, I've really wanted to do something like this for awhile, so deal with hearing from me twice in one day ;).

one: If there was one word to describe you.. what would it be?

Sparkly? I guess? I love sparkles and am basically obsessed with them. Just ask Mckenna. Each time I find something sparkly and point it out, she replies "squirrel!" Maybe caring would be another word? 

two: What makes you happy?

Lots of little things. Just to name a few: reading a good book, sunny days, overcast days, rainy days, curly hair, sunglasses, feeling the Spirit, laughing really hard, and eating sweets. 

three: What do you want to be when you "grow up"?

I would love to be a therapist or counselor for teenagers and kiddies, especially for girls. When I grow up, I want to make a difference. 

four: If you had a day that you could do anything you wanted. what would you do?

I would get a full night's rest and not sleep in too late (but still wake up fully refreshed and ready to go- if that's even possible for me), dance to my heart's content, read a really good book out in the sunshine, watch some of my favorite movies and eat sweet treats with friends and family, and not worrying about having to get anything done. 

five: Why do you blog?

 I like having a place online to share my thoughts and feelings and experiences. It helps me reach out to others, and it also keeps me connected with people I care about.

six: What is your favorite book?

There are too many to name! I love the Harry Potter series, Invaluable and Unconditional by Holly J. Wood (read them if you haven't!), and Anita Stansfield writes some pretty good books too.

seven: favorite season? (fall. summer. spring. winter) why?

I love them all for different reasons. Fall is beautiful and still warm, yet you get to start breaking out the boots and sweaters! Winter is absolutely gorgeous. I love the snow and Christmas and hot chocolate and staying cozily warm. Spring will always be special to me, because that's when I was born! I also love the weather warming up, the flowers, pretty pastels, and the rain. Summer is full of sunshine and happiness and adventure. 

eight: favorite place to travel.

I love Seattle, WA and New York City. If I had the chance, I would also love to travel to Washington D.C., Hawaii, England, France, and Italy.

nine: favorite treat.

That's a tough one, considering I have a massive sweet tooth! Apple pie is fabulous, so are homemade oreos, and a big fat slice of the Husband cake from The Chocolate. 

ten: Something fun about YOU. 

I am one of the pickiest eaters I've ever met. I hated the feel of grass when I was little. I love a clean kitchen sink. I am a huge perfectionist (only with some things though, not everything). Does that count as fun?
