Tonight I finished reading The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks for the who-knows-what time. Yes, I am a sucker for that kind of stuff. But it got me thinking about the details of our lives and the little moments that we often let slip by. I love those moments, but I don't actually to take the time to appreciate them in my own life. As I went back through the pictures in my phone, I realized that I'm actually doing a slightly better job than I realized. So now you get to experience some of them through my phone camera :).
I love when Kenna and I go shopping. We like to try on crazy things, like EPIC SWAG sunglasses and fake engagement rings ;).
Living with Reeann was just one great big giant "little" moment, consisting of crazy quotes, hours of avoiding homework, taking super hot selfies, and painting each others' faces with chocolate.
Or that one time her feet were cold so we covered them with blankets, jackets, my scarf, and a my hat :).
Some sweet shop in Pleasant Grove/American Fork during the priesthood session.
Celebrating Kenna's graduation without her :). Also, I thought I looked really cute in this picture :).
So thankful I took a picture of my long blond hair before I dyed it, then cut it a couple of months later!
And that one time I ended up being a redhead for a little while.
My "perfect" messy bun. To actually have one that I liked was a huge accomplishment!
Baby ducks mean it's spring!
My first prom date at his senior prom.
There's this hill on the south-western side of campus, and part of the hill is covered in daffodils, but only a couple of them had bloomed. I had to take a picture, it was so pretty! And then the picture ended up looking kind of like the magic golden flower from Tangled :).
When I first moved into my apartment building during Christmas break, someone had a cardboard cutout of Thor in their window :).
That one date where we spent part of it trying to decide what brand of Ny-Quil would be best to buy :).
And the paperclip headband thing that I made at work one day!
Kind of a random post, but my new goal is to start appreciating the little moments in my life rather than waiting for the ones to happen that I want to happen. Maybe it can be a goal for you too, eh? ;)
