My parents are both nursery leaders in our home ward. Since I was visiting their ward today, I had the opportunity to go with them and spend two hours with these little two year-old kids. Reflecting back on those two hours, and in the spirit of thanksgiving, I found a few things that I am grateful for.
I am grateful for selflessness and for those that are willing to share and serve.
We hear so much about how terrible the world is, and I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it here before. There is so much goodness though! This morning as my dad lead music time, two of the little girls would get the music props for themselves and for me. During the lesson, which was on sharing, one little girl was asked to share some candies with everyone. She unwrapped each candy and gave it to everyone, one by one.

I am grateful for the innocence and purity and beauty of children.

I am grateful for mothers, for their willingness to give of themselves to give birth to and raise children. I have even more respect for those mothers who raise several children, especially ones that are close in age! A nursery class of 7 toddlers, was tiring :).
I am grateful for my own mother. I wouldn't be where I am without my mom.
I am grateful for the goodness and the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I am grateful for this coming Christmas season, and I have chosen to make it more centered on Christ this year than I ever have. Visit christmas.mormon.org and watch the new video, A Savior is Born. You'll probably be hearing a lot about this during December. #asaviorisborn #sharegoodness
Have a good week.

You are still such an awesome young lady! (I've always thought so!) Those little two year olds are so sweet. They are exhausting, but sweet. It was good to see you today! Thanks for taking care of my babes :)
