Make That Change

It's been a bit since I've posted.

I could say that things have been busy, because they are - state baseball and soccer games, anatomy tests, bridal showers, and work (yes, I'm working again, and it is a wonderful thing!)

But I've also wasted plenty of time.

Several years ago, in Young Women's, a quote was shared that went something like this:

I know I've shared this picture before, but I just rediscovered it on my computer and it works perfectly!

Sometimes I wish I had a little more time to myself, to sleep and to read, but I really do enjoy being busy. It keeps me going and active and feeling like I'm doing something worthwhile.

I don't take enough time to stop and evaluate my life though. Where am I going? What am I doing? Who am I? What do I wish I was doing? What do I wish was different? Most importantly,

What can I change so that I am living the life that I want?

So, today I am taking that time to evaluate my life. Now, the hardest part for me about evaluating and deciding what needs to change is the actual change part. It's all fine and dandy that I came up with things to change, but it doesn't mean anything unless I start doing them.

My goal this week is to make changes. To live the way I want to live. To become better.

Cheers.

[P.S. Go listen to "Man in the Mirror" by Michael Jackson. It's been stuck in my head while writing this post. Better yet, listen to it while reading this post.]
