With all of that happening, it's no wonder I ended up like this:

But don't worry, I've been able to squeeze in a little bit of fun here and there. For example, the last two nights I went and saw the BYU Dance Department's production, Evidance, which features five main dance companies at BYU - ballet, contemporary, Living Legends, ballroom, and folk dance. They also premiered a documentary called Full Circle, about the experience a woman had when she saw the touring company perform in China when she was nine, which ultimately led to her experience in ballroom dance and the touring team's experience this summer with the performing arts school she started. The documentary was incredible, and I highly recommend watching it, which you can do immediately after the final session of General Conference on BYUTV.
Besides Evidance and Full Circle, I've also had the chance to compete in Las Vegas and Phoenix.

The NV Ball in Vegas was my first out-of-state competition, and it was a blast! It was kind of a last hoo-rah for summer before school started.
Now, for a small photo dump.
First day of school selfie. Well, actually, it might not be, but at least it was some time after school started...
This picture was taken the third time I locked my keys in the car within a week. The first time happened in PG when I got to my dance lesson (and included locking my dance stuff in the car, resulting in dancing in an extra pair of AJ's socks until my parents could come unlock the car for me), the second time was after taking my dance shoes to have new heel guards put on, and the third time (see the above picture) was a last minute shopping trip for stuff for the competition in Phoenix. That time, I bought chocolate to try to appease my parents, and Jessi and I ended up sitting on the hood of the car, eating chocolate and drinking straight from a gallon of milk she had bought. Life's rough. Fortunately, my parents still love me. And I haven't locked my keys in the car since.

Sometimes, we do crazy things at practice...
BYU women's soccer game with my sister!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to catch up on some sleep. Keep your fingers crossed that I post again within the next month. Hey, school is more important, right?! Right.
