School started a week ago, and it's been something of a whirlwind. I started my major - athletic training - and am interning with the dance teams this semester. So far, I love it! Every day really is different, and I'm learning all kinds of new things. I took a quick break this weekend to head to Irvine, CA with the BDC to compete at the Embassy Ball with Robbie - see my next blog post for that.
Since I never got around to recapping my summer, I thought I'd share some highlights.
I TA-ed for a pretty fantastic dance class summer term. It was an absolute party and I loved working with them.
Nauvoo trip. Seeing the Church sites and a couple of big cities, visiting grandparents, spending time with my family, and watching my friends dance was a blast.
We had a mini family reunion on my mom's side somewhere up in the mountains ;). I got to try four wheeling for the first time, and spend time with my family.
My family kidnapped me to hike the Grotto down in Payson, as well as for a picnic. The hike was super short and so easy that Emma was able to hike it in her boot and crutches.
Robbie and I also competed in California at the Desert Classic competition in July. I don't seem to have any pictures, but it was a definitely relaxed trip - we bummed it at the beach on Friday, hung out at the pool and got ready Saturday morning, competed Saturday night, then headed home Sunday.
I've reached my lazy point, and I'm getting tired of the internet not being very fast, so that's all you get of my summer. It was fun, despite working and taking classes. Now, on to fall and new adventures!
